Here is a Pop-up that is not too intrusive that I use for most
of my marketing ventures. I find it especially integrates with
Wordpress. I’ve found to have gotten 4 to 5 times the number
of Opt-Ins from using the Action Popup script. The beauty is
that you can control which pages and the number of times it
pops up on your site.

There are also free alternatives to check into.
For example MailChimp has both a free and paid option.
